I have finally found a method of uploading information into the Internet through a combination of my mobile phone and my laptop. Here is what I uploaded:
"Zombie activity has been on the rise over the past few days here in Quarlesbank. It is rumored that a full-scale zombie attack is scheduled on the mall to kill off the unsuspecting survivors inside. Anyone still inside the mall is either advised to heavily barricade the mall or seek other shelter, if possible. With rescue units still not mobilized, the situation looks grim for the residents of the mall. We need help. More reports as the situation develops."
Unfortunately, I had to be careful of the other residents of the mall, as many of them have gone mad after the events that have taken place in this city. If they knew I had a means of communicating with the outside world, I would probably be attacked. This is just typical of life here in Malton now. It seems so long ago that I was a reporter for WMTN TV 7 NEWS station.
I have formed a sort of friendship with a firefighter who is calling himself Hoopo Tokyo, who still carries an axe around. He's scared off a few people who probably meant to cause me harm, but sometimes I worry about his sanity. Especially when he grins while holding his axe...

Finally, after my repeated urgings, the residents of the Calvert Mall have started closing the holes in the barricades that the transient survivors have been making in order to come and go from the mall. The people rebuilding the barricades had to stand guard with shotguns hold off some of the more violent transients who would either shout at the efforts to strengthen the normal entrances of the mall or attack those working.
While I have been living here these past few weeks, I have been shown the intricate method of how to get into and get out of the mall. Survivors wanting to get into the mall need to go across the street to the Rason Hotel and use the rope bridge that is strung from the third story to the roof of the mall. From there, survivors can go down the stairs and into the mall itself.
I expect that the transients who are irritated with the current patching of the holes will continue to plague the barricades with sabotage attempts, but any individuals doing so, risk being attacked by those who have barricaded themselves inside.

I was forced awake after a number of shelves were accidentally knocked atop me by Dave. I was mom. He has several scars on his arms and face, but he told me he doesn't remember how they got there.
I haven't questioned him yet about the sickly color of his skin, but I will end up keeping watch on him in case he starts to exhibit symptoms of becoming a zombie.

A series of gunshots woke up most of the residents in out section of the mall. Apparently someone wanted to get in so badly that they started shooting at the barricade. When a small entrance was made, all that was found was a large bloody smear and fresh drag-marks leading towards Huckman Alley. The barricades were quickly boarded back up soon afterwards.

The city around us has become eerily quiet, like the calm before some great storm. I found a nice shotgun tucked under the bar of "Gothic Spirits", formerly a semi-trendy place for mid to late teenagers to hang out and party at when the city was still whole. It was still loaded, but I couldn't find any shotgun shells aside from a stray one that someone had kicked under a booth. It seems that most of the residents prefer beer and wine to some of the harder liquors. I've moved into the bar, as it was more comfortable than the food court, and I have managed to block the doors for the most part. I think this will at least do for now, until I can manage to get back to my house with some supplies, and check the damage, if any.
