Put your reply directly under the comment you're replying to. Before your comment, insert 1 colon to offset your comment by one indentation from the thing you're replying to.
Example:
- ":Isn't CSOF's talk page great?" (Replying to this)
- I start typing with "::It sure is!"
- If you're replying to something without any colons, use one colon.
