Purpose

There are multiple player clans in Malton dedicated to defeating all zombies or all humans. What seperates us apart from the others? The Malton Tactical Defense and Rescue is exactly as the name implies:

-Malton: We are a Malton based- group, not Monroeville or Borehamwood. This city is the subject of the free online browser game, Urban Dead.

-Tactical: We use teamwork and tactical strategy to achieve goals more unorganized groups of survivors cannot hope to accomplish

-Defense: Our goal is not to kill all of the zombies in the city, but rather to ensure the survival of the human race. Our people defend and set up strong points such as field hospitals, safehouses, etc. We also work to defend our own interest through the use of regular guard patrols.

-Rescue: As things are now in Malton, zombies are becoming organized and smart. Bale Mall, Fort Perryn.... these places are overrun and only small groups of survivors are alive in zombie hot zones. One job of the MTDR is to send support to suffering survivors and zombies, stop criminals, and even rescue groups of wounded survivors.

Our goals are much more down to earth and foreseeable. Our intelligence, our strength, all of it is based around the protection and rescue of those who are not as powerful as ourselves. The revival of zombies, the healing of wounded citizens, and the siege of zombie hotspots. These are the plan and the ideals our clan is based on.

Rules

Every institution or group has some form of rules, and ours is no different. As the MTDR, we pride ourselves on helping Malton and setting an example for new members. In this, we will cover the rules and the regulations of our group. Also, we will cover the forms of punishment, conviction, and order in the Urban Dead World and the forums here on our site.

RULES:

1.) Code of Conduct on the forums

While different forums have different rules, there are a few that apply to all of them. The main rules are as follows:

A.) Cursing is allowed, but lewd, unnecessarily rude comments are not. Any comments such as "YOU F***** B****! You Ain't know nothing bout Urban dead you nooooobbb...!" Breach of this rule is subject to one warning.

B.) Off color remarks are PROHIBITED! Racism is UNACCEPTIBLE. Sexism is an OFFENSE! This means YOU! No comments insulting or promoting race, sex, or ethnicity is allowed. Religion is allowed in conversation, but there can be NO profane religious comments. These comments result in one warning.

C.) Excessively Obtrusive or insulting posts or comments will be deleted and punishment will be issued based upon the severity of the comment. Comments such as "Britney Spears is a B****." She needs to learn about clothes." will be issued a warning. However, comments such as, "Suck my D***." will result in a complete ban and expulsion from the group.

D.) Being patriotic isn't a crime, but purposely putting down people from other ethnicities or countries is! Comments saying a country is arrogant isn't nice, but it isn't subject to punishment. Saying a country is "A bunch of gun-control, religion- clinging ridiculous hypocrites." or other such comments result in deletion of the comment and a warning or two based on severity.

E.) Politics can be annoying, but it’s a part of life and it can worm its way into our forums. So long as you talk about politics, remain in a civil, intelligent manner, and follow the rules stated above.

Crime and Punishment

A.) After twenty warnings, a ban will result. Warnings can be issued for breach of rules or under other circumstances. After warnings, a post limit will increase on you and will change the amount of posts made in a certain time limit.

B.) Warnings can be removed after: A period of extended good behavior, an increase in rank, an awarded medal, etc.

C.) Bans can result after being found of crimes on Urban Dead

D.) Demotions can fall upon those convicted of crimes or after a large amount of bad behavior.

II.) Urban Dead crimes

A.) Urban Dead is not devoid of law and order. Crimes committed WILL NOT GO UNPUNISHED!

B.) Crimes will be carried out as detailed in the following steps:

2A.) the crime is committed

2B.) after a report is filed, an investigation is fulfilled as planned by the proper authorities.

2C.) after proper investigation is finished, the defendant is called to court. He is allowed to an attorney from anywhere in the clan, and he has the right to defend himself/herself. If the defendant does not appear after three PMs, they are automatically banned and, depending on the severity of the crime, worse.

2D.) A group of nine people are called to court. Eight for the jury from random sections of the group, and one high council member to act as a judge. If nobody is self appointed as a prosecutor, one is randomly selected from a group of witnesses.

2E.) The case is handled properly. The prosecutors call a witness, the defendant can cross- examine, and so forth until the defendants get a turn. Opening and closing statements are allowed up until the end of the case.

2F.) The jury is allowed a special thread to deliberate in. After the have come to the decision, they message their decision to the High Court Judge. Finally, each person reads off the verdict until all eight have done so. This serves as the final verdict and NO APPEAL MAY BE MADE

2G.) The judge decides a sentence. This sentence is non- refutable and cannot be changed.

2H.) After a period of thirty days, the deliberation thread is deleted and the court proceedings are moved to the archives. This serves as the history of our group and must be preserved.

III.) Bounties

A.) Bounties are placed on the heads of capital offenders. Termination of these offenders can be used towards rank or medals. Each kill is counted towards your future, and is logged by others.

B.) Bounties can also help remove warnings, restore banned accounts, etc.

C.) THESE BOUNTIES ARE SERIOUS. It takes a lot of work to track down a kill a certain player on Urban Dead, which is why it is a problem for many and bounties are only applied in the most serious offenses. Mass PKing, Murder of officials, etc.

Crime is a serious problem in Urban Dead. ZKing and PKing are offenses and are not treated lightly.

Recruitment

If you've reached this point, you're more than likely interested in the Malton Tactical Defense and Rescue. If this is your first time in a clan, don't worry, joining is an easy process.

Just follow these steps and you'll be up in no time!

3.)Read the Rules and Regulations page in the GUEST INFORMATION section

4.)In the upper left corner of the page, click register, fill out the forms, and apply for a group. Anyone under level 5 on Urban Dead must be in the New Recruits group, anyone above can join a different group.
