I frequently quote a particular phrase from Tom Robbins in profiles, "a fortune, nirvana, or revolution always just out of reach." I realize, however, that this may be misleading. The phrase, as used, describes the futility of cadres of armchair revolutionaries, pseudo-intellectuals, and conspirators lacking both acumen and gumption. I would ask instead that you infer that I am not one of these dilettantes, but rather that I am innately close to achieving my intentions.
