Colette Hart's Main Character.

Colette Hart
Joined: May 1, 2009
Character style: Survivor
Favorite equipment: Some loaded pistols, shotguns and a toolbox are all that she needs.
Current status: Watching the Rose District
Group: Order of the Black Rose

Character Notes

Member of the Order of the Black Rose. A Consumer class character, she left her home with nothing but a kitchen knife and her cell phone (Perhaps not a wise choice). She had a rather hard life, leveling up slowly. Now she's a full-fledged level 41 survivor. She plays offensively, mainly shooting at zombies (No wonder she's sometimes called one of the best gunslingers of the OBR). She's not afraid of barricading and healing, though.

Notice: This User or Group enjoys the RPG aspect of MMORPGs, the category of games that Urban Dead falls into. As such, there is probably quite a bit of roleplaying and/or creative writing on this page and in said User/Group's in-game actions. In other words, if you think the difference between IC and OOC is "One has an 'I' and the other has two 'O's," buzz off.

Born in the late eighties, Colette Hart was an innocent civilian trapped in Malton. Her father was a skillful and famous surgeon; her mother, a little-known novelist. She also has a younger sister, Elise Hart.

She and her family moved to Malton when she was ten years old, since his father was offered a job at the St. Ninian's Hospital, in the northeast area of the city. She had private tutors for her education, so she barely left her house. Instead, she used to spend her time reading. She enjoyed specially books about astronomy and aeronautics, and also playing the violin, instrument she developed a taste for. One morning she got up as usual. Her mother was not at home. Colette's grandfather lived in another city. He was sick, his life was about to end. Colette's mother had hurriedly left to take care of her dying father, leaving her daughter alone. Colette turned her TV on just to see that the violence in Malton was stronger than ever. Malton was not a very safe city, some suburbs were nests of thieves and criminals. However, this violence was even stronger than usual. The policemen were on watch everywhere due to the recent wave of murders everywhere, even in the richest and safest of the suburbs. Helicopters and patrol cars watched the city every second. Nobody knew what was happening. Some said that NecroTech, a large company that operated in Malton, had accidentally released some kind of dangerous mutated animals that were attacking people, but no one was sure. And nobody dared to say that a group of hellish zombies was trying to take the city...

She received a phone call. It was her father. The hospital was receiving a large number of wounded persons, and his hands were full. He only told her to lock the doors and windows and wait for him before the conversation was suddenly cut. Despite her attempts to contact her father, she could not call him again.

A couple of hours later, she saw them. Blood all over their clothes, deformed faces and blank eyes. They lurched slowly, biting to death anything alive. She was looking through a window when the creatures chased and killed a man who was in the street. In panic, she blocked her doors with all the furniture she could, and took a kitchen knife for self-defense.

Hours later, the gunfire began. The soldiers were called in to defend the city, but it was too late. Suddenly, all the communications with the outside of the city were interrupted. The city was placed under quarantine, and the borders were closed. Colette was hiding when the lights went out. There was no power, and the telephone lines were dead. With nothing but her mobile phone and her knife, she decided to look for her father. But she never found him. It was as if he would had dissapeared into thin air.

She knew that staying in a single place wouldn't be wise, she began walking through the ruins of the city. She was horrified. She hated violence... She had the firm belief that any conflict could be solved by discussing rationally. But witnessing all the murderers killing without recieving punishment, people dying everyday, and all those zombies hunting humans to devour them made her change her mind... Malton is not longer a civilized place. She took a handgun from the corpse of a dead police, a gun she always keeps loaded.

After wandering through the city for months, aware that escape was not possible, and that her only hope was to keep being alive, she got used to the hostile Malton. As used to the city as anyone with hot blood can, though...

One day, she was walking through the city when she heard about a group of people called the Order of the Black Rose...
