Big Coffin Hunters

I turn my body from the sun. What ho Tashtego! Let me hear thy hammer. Oh, ye three unsurrendered spires of mine, thou uncracked keel, and only god-bullied hull, thou firm deck, and haughty helm, and pole-pointed prow — death—glorious ship! Must ye then perish, and without me? Am I cut off from the last fond pride of meanest shipwrecked captains? Oh, lonely death on lonely life! Oh, now I feel my topmost greatness lies in my topmost grief. Ho, ho! From all your furthest bounds, pour ye now in, ye bold billows of my whole foregone life, and top this one piled comber of my death! Strength is just an accident arising from the weakness of others 14:37, 29 May 2010 (BST)

Kanly

Kanly – "Formal feud or vendetta under the rules of the Great Convention carried on according to the strictest limitations. Regulated form of warfare between noble houses, intended to "reduce involvement of innocent bystanders". The rules require formal declarations of intent and restrict permissible weapons."

I would like you to know that due to the actions of one "Riot17" who killed my alt Ed Zeplin during Biertag while a state of Ceasefire with the Earletown Rangers was flashing green on your group page, that I am henceforth single handedly, and without the Rangers, declaring Kanly (a personal vendetta) on this despicable bushwacker. In the tradition of the mountain man Jeremiah Johnson, who warred on the whole Crow nation single handed, I will count coupe 5 to 1 for this cowardly act. To be clear: I will take his scalp 5 times-and I do not care how many times he gets me or how long it takes (Zeplin is not much of a hunter and still has to be the combat medic for the Rangers). Since my dealings with DeWolf have convinced me that he is an honorable "Shootist" I shall extend the courtesy of notification of when satisfaction has been achieved.--Belisarius17 01:11, 9 July 2010 (BST)

Formal Retraction and Withdrawl of Vendetta ChallengeAs I PMed Riot17, I find your arguments compelling and I formally retract the state of vendetta. Further, for the record I declare that your actions were appropriate within the realm of "Jus Bellus" and that this was a case of misunderstanding on MY PART, not yours. Per my earlier statement: "if I disparage your actions due to wiki errors or miscommunication then I shall withdraw the Kanly and we can go back to killing each other as a result of unfortunate circumstances"-I formally declare that you are not a trucebreaker, you are not a bushwacker and I was mistaken.
