More use of this page
I think this page should be used more. It should become a center point for all the barricade plans. Currently the barricade plans seem to be made and run by the local suburbs, which is fine, but it would be helpful for there to be a center point for all the plans. --PhaZ <02:43 - Aug 3,2008>
On a side note Boxy was the one created this, but I thought it could use some work, so I started working on it. -- PhaZ <22:51 - Aug 3,2008>
Plan
- Each suburb would create a template for there barricade plan.
- The template would be included on the suburb's page, the suburb's barricade plan page, and on this category's page.
The template, if agreed on would also be made based a specific design to create a uniform and easy to read style that all the suburbs would follow. There's currently a template based off of DEM Barricade Plan Generator

I like how Crowbanks has their barricade plan shown. I think it may be a good alternative to
the diagrams made by the DEM Barricade Plan Generator mentioned above, but I leave it for now, since it's low priority. It can be decided on once I raise this page to the attention of to more of the people on this wiki. -- PhaZ
- Agreed. I like the Suburb Mutual Barricade Plan visuals even more... and the concept ain't half bad either! Lomd 03:55, 4 February 2009 (UTC)
I had to search for a while before being able to find a discussion page discussing about the barricade plans.
I am simply passing by to suggest a small improvement: add cardinal directions options on the map so we can manually add links to the four suburbs around the one being viewed. The reason is simple: sometimes when looking at the barricade plan of a suburb you happen to be on the edge of one and wish to quickly peruse the barricade plan of the neighboring suburb. In the current version of the template one would need to go to the very suburb page to click on the neighboring suburb and then find the barricade plan at the bottom of the second suburb page and go on the second suburb barricade plan page. 2 or 3 clicks and a lot of scrolling for very little, which could be easily solved by a single linked letter on every side of the plan currently being reviewed. Or while we are at it, maybe with 8 directions instead of 4.
To be frank, I'd do it myself if I had any decent knowledge of coding... It is most probably not hard to add to the already existing plans... But I am clueless on how to do it myself. --

- I'm not completely understanding where you're coming from. Do you mean when looking at the suburb map at the bottom of a suburb page? -- LEMON #1 13:32, 26 October 2010 (BST)
- Well, if you want an example I can easily provide. I have this page bookmarked and I load it up almost everytime I play. I use it both for the barricade plan and the suburb plan so I can plan my moves more effectively.
- This suggestion of mine is not really essential or critical... But would certainly save a lot of unneeded clicking and loading of pages I would otherwise almost never visit. -- •Eagle of Fire• •[Talk]• 01:23, 27 October 2010 (BST)

- And why would I want to do that? Downgrade from a map I like to one that I find totally uninformative? Not only this is not helpful in the least, but it doesn't contribute at all to the discussion nor does it solve the initial problem. -- •Eagle of Fire• •[Talk]• 02:40, 27 October 2010 (BST)
- You know it's 95% the same map, right? And that it does solve the problem by taking one less page out of your travels each time, right? 02:43, 27 October 2010 (BST)
- This is a useless debate. I like the 5% difference and I won't change. This whole thing is only a suggestion. If you don't like it then just say it instead of trying to argue for fun. -- •Eagle of Fire• •[Talk]• 05:30, 27 October 2010 (BST)
