Who are the Flowers of DecayThe Flowers of Decay are an active, nomadic PKer group founded by former members of the historic PK group Flowers of Disease. They have shown a propensity for attacking both groups as well as random individual targets. Members typically wear some kind of dried or wilting rose or other flower as a method of identifying with the group. Otherwise there seems to be no established dress code. Their PurposeFrom an unsuspected reunion in the abandoned den of an old enemy the embers of a long since abandoned fire have been rekindled. Now the Flowers of Disease have awoken again, reestablishing themselves under the new descriptor of Decay. Many of the faces are the same as is the mission to rid Malton of the flotsam, those who drift aimlessly through its streets contributing nothing to the eternal struggle between the living and the dead. This waste of living tissue complacently slumbers in malls or local drinking establishments partaking in myriad forms of debauchery and wickedness while an enemy lurks at the gate. Evidence of this cultural and strategic decline could not be more clear. Vile graffiti covers nearly every square inch of the city and one can often wander across entire suburbs in search of a building they can enter to no avail. Often the only entry points are not maintained by survivors but are ruins, open and occupied by the very enemy we are trying to overcome. This flotsam must be punished for their sloth, shown their weakness and unpreparedness and pushed into action even at the point of a gun. As their bodies begin to pile like cordwood and the suburbs run with their blood the violence will leave them more alert and draw them together to repel whatever antagonist they may face. Let the Flowers of Decay be those antagonists that our campaign of murder prepares them for the coming of the next horde. They will thank us when the undead return in force and they are ready, honed like a blade by the whetstone of our despicable actions. RecruitmentWill you be next one to take your place by our side? If you have had enough of the deadweight that surrounds you on a daily basis - if you are fed up and aren't going to take it anymore...if you refuse to abide the presence of Flotsam in your midst for even one more single day..... The following entrance criteria must be met before the FOD will consider your application to join us. 1. You are Level 10 or above.If you are not, feel free to come back when you are. Otherwise, these guys would be happy to have you. 2. You will be required to participate in an "initiation" period with the group.During this time, you will be sent to claim some scalps from past Flotsam we've encountered or some other type of quest. During this time, you'll also be able to interact with the group and we'll see if it's a good fit. When the initiation quest is complete, your membership to the main group will be voted on by the BOARD with consultation with the rest of the group. Other Things to consider: 1. You are an active team player. We don't want loose cannons who can't get along with the rest of us...or players who are with the group in name only. We don't expect you to live on the forum but that said, if you can't be somewhat active, we're not the group for you. 2. You have experience using Shotguns, Pistols and sharp objects. If you can also use Necrotech Syringes, that's a plus. 3. The FOD does not participate or condone any of the following actions. If any group or individual, whether inside or outside of the FOD, is found to be participating in any of these crimes they will be summarily branded flotsam and given no quarter.
4. The FOD does not recognize the policy of Honor Among Theives. To provide blanket immunity based on affiliation, regardless of skill, intellect or personality is to allow flotsam to continue to wallow in their uselessness.
