St. George's Hospital EHB,lit // After the barricades fell, The battle lasted for hours. As survivors attempted to rebuild the 'cades, the ghouls continued their assault, dealing heavy damage to some of the souls left scattered throughout the hospital wards. QBee took a fatal wound that landed her on the ground, pulseless and weeping her life-blood onto the dusty floors. To the horror of all inhabiting the College of Medicine, she rose to her feet, a shell of the vibrant warrior-scientist she had once been. After a while, she indicated a pacivity that allowed one of the scientists a closer examination of her grey, blood-flecked flesh. There was still something human in that ghastly shell. She was injected with the elixer that has become so sought after these last years and she immediately collapsed to the ground in a heap. Then came the miracle that we have all witnessed far too many times, as her skin slowly evolved into a more natural shade of healthy human pink. She once again rose to her feet, but now it was QBee that stood before the survivors, and with a renewed gusto, she once again waded into the fray that had become the nightmare of St. George's Hospital. Her's was not the only loss and then recover of the battle. As the survivors battled on, as some would run out of ammunition for their weapons, they would make supply runs to re-stock, or in some cases, just run. The barricades fell and were rebuilt time after time, using stretchers, desks and even table lamps to halt the entry of the dead. Finally from 9 wandering corpses to 8 then 7 and so on. After almost a day of constant battle, the last of the living nightmares was put down with a headshot and dumped out the window. After, once again ensuring the barricades were well strengthened, the survivors took a moment to breath deeply and take a well earned and much deserved rest.
