B-GL-1-1: Basic Fire Team Operations
The following is a basic guide on Fire Team Operations.
Fire Team Concept
In-game communication presents two opposing constraints on the Regiment:
- Concentration: Because speaking is a major method of reporting, the Regiment must sleep concentrated so that minimal AP is used to inform the largest number of people possible.
- Dispersion: Concentration is dangerous because one bad break-in could do in the entire team.
In order to balance these two competing needs, The Regimental Rifle Corps operates divided into Fire Teams.
Fire Teams are made up of four members, and they operate as the Regiment's lowest unit of control, taking part in a larger operation as a subordinate formation or operating independently with separate missions. A Team Leader coordinates and fine-tunes the team's efforts.

Battle SOP
Generally speaking, when you operate in a Fire Team, you will do the following:
- Fight from the same Safehouse as your Fire Team members: Each Fire Team will have their own HQ from where they operate. Members will keep each other informed verbally. The HQ will be moved frequently for tactical mobility and security.
- If You Fight dispersed: If situation dictates that the Fire Team stays dispersed, the Team Leader will let you know his safehouse in advance. You should drop in and verbally report at the end of your day.
Scent Trail
Scent trail kills, especially when you are operating from the same building as your Fire Team members. Do not attack zombies without enough AP to finish it off. If you are scented, report verbally to your Team Leader, and then sleep in a building nearby--NOT the Fire Team safehouse.
Inventory
The Fire Team is a fighting force which need to be able to sustain itself on the field. You should aim for a good mix of combat/healing items in your inventory, so that you can fight for a long duration without needing to resupply.
Radio
As a Fire Team member, you need 1 hand-held radio set to the Regiment's General Tactical Frequency.
You should know enough of the Regiment's private code to read any radio-bound reports.
Sometimes, Regiment HQ will issue direct orders to Fire Teams instead of going through the Team Leader. You should comply immediately if the task is short-term, and wait on your Team Leader's direction if it is a complicated or a long-term one.
Conclusion
As a member of the Fire Team, you are the primary force generator for the the Regiment. Play well, cooperate, and have fun.
