Anyone know what happened to the nice building image (Freeguard3.jpg) that used to accompany this article? --Natalya Zveda 03:36, 17 December 2006 (UTC)
- Was it a copyrighted photo? There's been a lot of those up for deletion lately -- boxy T L PA DA 04:05, 17 December 2006 (UTC)
- The source image came from a Google image search. However, the image which was uploaded here had been cropped down to one corner of the original, then flipped, enlarged, had a phone tower added to the roof and all identifiable markings scrubbed off the walls, and further processed with image filters such as lens flares and "aging", such that the final product bore little resemblance to the original. I've found no record of its deletion in the deletions archive. :/ --Natalya Zveda 02:05, 18 December 2006 (UTC)
- The logs for that file indicate that it was deleted by Gage on Oct 30, but that Again Again seems to have uploaded a version of it after you (and before the deletion), for some reason -- boxy T L PA DA 02:14, 18 December 2006 (UTC)
- Ahhh, Again Again is a banned vandal, that may explain it. Unfortunately the image can't be restored, so unless you've still got a copy, I'm afraid it's gone -- boxy T L PA DA 02:17, 18 December 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks for finding the logs and looking into the reason behind its disappearance, boxy. I greatly appreciate it. Cheers --Natalya Zveda 02:42, 18 December 2006 (UTC)
