Mitchel "Mitch" Runnels

Mitch was born May 10, 1976 in Bixby, Oklahoma, United States of America. He graduated from Bixby High School in 1994 and entered Oklahoma University in 1995, majoring in history. Met a British woman attending O.U. during his freshman year; they married in 1996. Dropped out of college because of inability to pay tuition in same year. Applied for job as a Cherokee Nation lighthorseman (the Native American national police forces) and was accepted. Upon his wife's graduation in 1998, quit his job and relocated to Malton. Joined Malton Police Department within six months of his arrival and was assigned to Holsgrove Row precinct in Yagoton. Outbreak occured while he and his wife were visiting family in London. Was one of the last people to enter the city before quarantine was instituted, though his wife remained in London.

Mitchel is a tall, thin man with dark green eyes and long, unkempt light brown hair. He is fit, but not particularly well-muscled. His police uniform is covered in stains, the origins of which are underminable, and is torn is numerous places. There is a .38 snubnose revolver in a holster on his belt, and a sawed-off double-barrelled shotgun slung over his shoulder with a makeshift strap made of torn cloth. He is wearing a silver wedding ring on a length of twine tied around his neck. He is obviously exhausted, but gives the impression of someone who has not lost hope.

Mitchel left the Holsgrove Row Police Station to assist in the defence of Caiger Mall two months ago and hasn't been seen since. Presumed deceased.
