When critical mass is reached by zombies they win very quickly. For survivors it is less marked, but if they reach critical mass, and zombies do not have great enough numbers to reach their critical mass, survivors win eventually. This means that Critical Mass palys an important role in winning a siege.Critical Masses always change because of the chaos. You know,Zombies revived into Survivors,Survivors killed to become zombies, extra reinforcements arrive etc.One can slow the APs taken by those in Critical Masses by using barricades.Other diversions include zombies with Brain Rot asking for a revive so as to waste a survivor 10 AP by using a Syringe etc.

Critical Mass is the required number of survivors (or zombies) required to hold or maintain a location. It is most often used in reference to Mall Sieges, where Critical Mass can refer to:

  1. The point at which survivors with construction will ALWAYS be online and able to reinforce barricades
  2. The point at which enough zombies have entered one square of the mall to prevent any barricading

When critical mass is reached by zombies they win very quickly. For survivors it is less marked, but if they reach critical mass, and zombies do not have great enough numbers to reach their critical mass, survivors win eventually. This means that Critical Mass plays an important role in winning a siege. Critical Masses frequently change because of the chaotic events of a siege, such as zombies being revived into survivors, survivors being killed and becoming zombies, extra reinforcements arriving, etc.
