Surviving Malton

You are Karen Lancer, a third year university student studying Computer Sciences at the City University of Malton. Earlier today, a fight broke out on campus. One of the students bit and killed another student. Campus security attempted to restrain this student, having to resort to knocking the student out. However, the student who was presumed dead stood up, bit, and killed one of the campus security personnel. The incident caused the entire campus to break out in panic. Within a hour, almost everyone on campus has been bitten and killed. But they didn't stay dead. You, along with a handful of campus faculty members and university students, have taken shelter in the Voules Museum in Penny Heights.
