Covert Operations

Covert operations is the kind of warfare, where the given group uses tactics in the game only trivial for themselves. These are usually smaller operations, but carried out very precisely. The supporters often use metagaming platforms, like external forums to discuss their actions and plans. The fact, that these forums are widely available to nearly anyone, makes the informations of these actions available to anyone, who takes the time to go after the stream, too. For example, survivor groups can monitor the largest zombie hordes' forums, to get information about their current targets and goals. This way they can maintain better resistance against them.

Covert operation tactics are based on the fact, that the information-stream of these operations (forums, chatters, etc.) are restricted only to the members of the operation. In Urban Dead, the given group needs to use coded orders and communication methods through radio broadcasts, mobile phones, or other game given opportunities, like tagging, feeding groans, or flares.
