Recent Wiki Projects
I'm always working on one thing or another around here lately so I'm gonna mention what they are here.
- There's not too much I've been doing right now besides watching for things, I'm actually planning on starting something new though to go with my recently created Danger Reports project. I plan on making a map of the suburbs for each report, linking to it, and marking on the map with specific colors which buildings were scouted, along with a when, and a link to the corresponding Iwrecord and the userpage/name of the person who provided the report. I'm doing this because it saves time for me from a scouting standpoint, because I can monitor freerun lanes, important buildings, etc. With ease and know which ones I haven't seen yet or been too. Basically I'm ripping it from the Ridleybank Resistance Front Department of Homeland Security's method, and making one map for everything, but instead of coloring barricades I'm coloring buildings scouted in the last 72 hours, nonbuilding areas, resource buildings, and nonscouted buildings. I expect this might take me at least a week to get the first one done because I have no plans to start it now and I am looking for a good design I want to emulate first, I don't like the look of the DoHS map and I want to get the look first.
- Stylerizing my user page some, just did it while typing this, updated a few things too, and trying to decide whether or not to do the same to my talk page, I probably won't for the sake of ease of use.
- I have just started the first part of what I think may end up being the hardest project I work on on this wiki now or in the future. I'm making a new danger level map for use with the aforementioned danger report system, it is meant to be a more accurate map, the only issue I see it having is there will be a lot of unknown space unless I am provided useful user input with the necessary information. The criteria will be made clear for each danger level as soon as I get it panned out. Check it out
- Created a Project Development page here.
- ProjDev has grown quite a bit since I first made it, I have started working out the danger maps, even decided on a color scheme for the buildings(although still not sure how I'm going to do danger level, images mabey?)
- Began and finished Map Omega. It may look lacking now but that's because the maps themselves aren't completed but as soon as they are done they will add themselves to Map Omega like the ones that are already there.
- More nonsense has led to more suburb maps and two updates for Template:BuildingStatus, the second one is still in the works but basically it's me trying to make it auto update(partially) so that there is no need to sign it. Only problem is I don't know the mechanics for signing.
- Lots of various things, will update them here soon. Also, Work is going to be started on a few article classification style templates, the first will be for {{Tactics}} pages.
