That was their motto, and they did seem to live up to it too! Generally screening old news reels or B-movies the Chitty cinema was bankrupt before it started.

After it's screening of the classic 'Manos - The Hands of Fate' on it's opening night, it was clear that no one was really going to catch onto the whole Chitty Idea after several of the audience gouged out their own eyeballs during the film.

Lord Pitman ensured the cinema was destroyed in the early days of the outbreak as he couldn't stand the smell of their god awful Chitty popcorn.
