We are "The Survivalists". We have one soul purpose, to be the last surviving members of malton. Everyday the survivors existence is threatened by a foe some are not even aware of, this foe is Extinction they are dedicated to the destruction of revival in Malton. Some of you may ask why must we worry about a bunch of mush brains, I will tell you why; they level the land which they lay claim to, every time you are hurt you need a FAK meanwhile they need only bite you or a dead body, they are more powerfull than the most skilled axe men and will never need bullets, every survivor they touch will die as he tries to fight or run, and no matter how many bullets you unload into them they will ALWAYS get back up. With a combination of random attacks on Necrotech and these coordinated efforts it is only a matter of time before the statistics begin to shift and then there numbers will only grow exponentially. When this dark day occurs there will be very few survivors left standing and we intend to be those few, will you be among us?

Accomplishing Our Goal

In order for us to achieve our main goal we must keep key buildings and areas from falling to the point of no return. If a ransacked TRP is left unattended too long it will require days worth of AP to repair leaving the person inside vulnerable and requiring another person to barricade the building. You are then left with two people who have expended all of their AP. We must now consider how they are to deal with zombies left in or around the building, along with PKers. This will require more manpower still to support those inside the building, all of whom are at risk of injury or death. To combat this, we now bring medics into the situation to heal those wounded in battle. While this is a logistical nightmare, it can be prevented if we hold those TRPs in the first place, and keep them from falling into enemy hands. However, doing so will require support from the survivor community.

Survival Units

Each "unit" must contain players with the with the skills and items to fill the following criteria.

  • 1: Combat-Gunner
  • 2: Combat-Melee
  • 3: Support-Medic
  • 4: Support-Reviver
  • 5: Support-Technician
  • 6: Any Other Positions That A Mission May Require (such as scout or other position)

Combat Positions

Gunner:

A gunners role is quite simple, he carries around lots of big guns and ammunition and uses them on anything that stands in the units way. The gunners powerful but inefficient methods are best used to quickly clear out multiple foes, the gunner is best put to use in either clearing out a building or defending from small scale attacks. The gunner should be well equipped with guns and plenty of ammo as well as have well trained gun skills, this is one position where a Trenchcoater style will actually work considering they simply need to kill zombies.

Melee

A melee fighters role can and will vary greatly. They are very good for bringing down a single zombie without consuming any resources, but they cannot kill multiple full health zombies therefore are best suited for light to medium grade combat. Even though the Melee fighter isn't the strongest pure fighter they are extremely good for bringing overcaded entry points down. A melee fighter should carry a Fire Axe and a good deal of first aid kits. They should have hand to hand combat, axe proficiency, and body building (not required but highly recommended). This is a very good position for the low level who is willing to invest time in the group.

Support Positions

Medic:

The medic is the man who goes about healing wounded teammates. Medics usually need diagnosis however one MIGHT be able to manage without it but it could be difficult. One should try to get as many medical skills as they can. A medic should carry enough First Aid Kit to keep their unit alive and well.

Reviver:

The reviver is debatably one of the most important positions in Malton. Without the guy who brings life into his fallen comrade we would all be the shuffling dead. In theory A reviver would only need to be level 2 however most Necrotech buildings are over very strongly barricaded therefor a reviver would need free-running in order to enter. The only Items a reviver really needs are his DNA Extractor and enough Revivification Syringes to go around. When it comes to combat revival it should only be regarded as a last resort due to the risks of combat revival and the consumption of syringes.

Technician:

The technician is the man who repairs buildings and sets up barricades. The technician has a very simple but VERY important job. The only thing a technician needs it the construction skill and a Toolbox. A technician should probably carry a generator and a fuel can and possibly a transmitter depending on what kind of building they shall be reclaiming.
