Aims
Zombies are not consumers. They consume the flesh of the living but they are not productive members of our great consumer society. They don't eat fast food, they don't drive cars, they don't burn oil, they don't buy skinny jeans, iPods and mocha lattes. They survive, thrive and prosper without contributing their labour or their disposable income to the economy, destroying our financial institutions and rendering our money worthless.
TBBN fight back against the zombie parasites by defending the banks and by reassuring the survivors that the world outside is still worth living for: stocks are still traded, money is still flowing and people are still shopping. As they count out the last of their bullets and finish the last of their tinned food, this news will be a great comfort to them.
Activities
- Broadcast the latest financial news and stock market information on the 27.71MHz frequency.
- Keep banks manned, lit and defended.
- Aid any friendly survivors entering a bank.
- Revive zombies whenever possible. This turns a vicious, self-sufficient zombie into one of the weak, impressionable consumers we need to rebuild our economy.
Recruitment
Anyone is welcome to join and broadcast. An Asian Markets correspondent is needed, along with a dedicated US Markets correspondent.
The group is not limited to Thristle Bank. Anyone can start their own TBBN news service from their local bank, broadcasting on 27.71MHz.
Powered and lit banks attract zombies, so zombie hunters are always welcome.
