Loose Cannons

The newest recruits of the Cannonball Strike Force are called Loose Cannons (LC). It is an introductory squad with less stringent requirements on commitment and participation. If you're a survivor and want to get a feel for what it's like to be part of a group without making a full commitment upfront, then the Loose Cannons are for you.

If you're new to the game and your character is having a difficult time leveling up, joining the Loose Cannons will give you plenty of opportunities to gain XP and have fun at the same time. On the other hand, if you're a maxed-out veteran with XP to spare and find the game has become boring, joining a group is a great way to make it exciting again.

You begin by coming to our forum and saying hello to your new teammates. Missions and directives will be handed down by a veteran member of the Cannonball Crew. Jump into the action and learn firsthand how much a group can accomplish through coordination.

As a member of the group, you are fully expected to act in a pro-survivor manner and adhere to our policies.

If you find yourself enjoying your time with the Crew after participating in a couple of missions, then ask to be upgraded to a Loose Cannons Soldier (LC Soldier). As an LC Soldier, you'll gain access to more intel and useful tools and be on your way to becoming a full-fledged Cannonball Strike Force member.

HISTORY

The Loose Cannons group was created in May 2006 as part of a major recruitment effort. It was originally run more as an independent group under the auspices of the Cannonball Strike Force. Members were even instructed to change their group names to "Loose Cannons" instead of the now common "Cannonball Strike Force." As time went on, and as players signed up and moved up the ranks, it was decided to fold the Loose Cannons into the Cannonball Strike Force and to consider the group more as a squad of promising new members than as a separate entity.
