Greetings and welcome to the Alphabet Game! It was created as a PKing pastime until another great event rocks the PKers of Malton and hopefully will bring some fun into all participants’ lives.

The Rules

The object of the Alphabet Game is to kill a certain sequence of survivors, very much as in a game of dominoes. The leader (or downer) downs the initial survivor. Now the next player has to find someone whose name begins with the last letter of the name of the survivor killed before. This survivor is called a Link.

e.g. The Downer downs Cowboy Up, the next player kills Pathetic Bill the next Lnt. Poulter and the next would have to find a Link beginning with R etc.

Every such Link is worth one point which can be modified by certain circumstances, explained below under Bonuses. The points go to what ever player posts the next Link in the chain first on the games wiki page. See posting rules for details.

If a name ends with a number it is disregarded. The next Link in the chain has to be one beginning with the last actual letter of his predecessors’ name.

e.g. Dan113 gets killed; next link has to have a name beginning with N.

Links must be over level 3, characters younger than that are not valid links and do not add points to a players score.

Victims are only valid as Links one time in the session of the game.

The game itself runs for a period of time and the score of each player is calculated after this period has past. The sequence from the first down to the last link is called a chain.

Bonuses

  • Turban Dead bonus: The target is a non-descript, +1 point.
  • Number Cruncher bonus: The target has a number in his name, +1 point
  • Group bonus: The previous target and your kill share the same affiliation, +1 point.
  • Double Kill: You achieve two Links in a row. Bonus +1 point.

Posting Rules

  1. To make a valid Link and cash in points for your kill, you have to post your kill on this page with a profile link of the victim, with a screenshot confirming the kill.
    e.g.: Quendus, Screenshot.
  2. Whoever posts first get the point(s). Only the first post counts for determining the next valid link.
  3. Only posts with signature and timestamps are valid, post without a signature or timestamp are invalid and will be deleted.
