BAD-MU Summary

The Buttonville Anti-Zombie Defense and Medical Unit (BAD-MU) was first created with the idea of joining together all willing survivors to do what we were meant to: Face the zombies that hurt our city.

Beginning in Buttonville, we plan to spread out, and set bases up all over the city, effectively making Malton a better place to live. By defending Necrotech buildings, tactically vital hospitals, and other important buildings, we will be able to better support survivors, and other allied groups. By sending medically trained doctors and nurses to hospitals inside dangerous areas, we will be able to lend important aid to the wounded and besieged. With our soldiers in combat, serving us in glorious battle, our joined units will shoot every last bullet to ensure that the survivors stay safe from the zombie oppression.

If you are considering joining, you may visit and post a request on the forums, email me at blueheadish@yahoo.com, or go to our talk page at the following link. Talk:BAD-MU

Recruitment Policy

If you are wanting to find out more about BAD-MU, or are thinking about joining the anti-zombie movement, please go here -> forum link. All survivors, wanting to know more information on the recruiting policy, may visit Buttonville's Garlic Square Fire station (or other recruitment stations) for more info, and so we may answer any questions you may have.

To not require training, you must have these skills...

One of these... (Unless you are joining the Hawk Squad (See below))

pistol training

shotgun training

axe proficiency

knife proficiency

first aid

or Necrotech Employment

You must also have all of these skills...

Construction

and Free Running

This means you must be a minimum of a Lv. 3 to enter the military, if you have the correct skills.

If you do not meet these requirements, you may be asked to undertake a "boot camp" within the safe boundaries of a designated training site before being sent into combat. This is to ensure your survival with your unit, and the survival of other units around you. Now on to units.

Units

There are four units you may join:

Dove Squad: relief unit specializing in low danger zones. Advanced pistol training is required.

Vulture Squad: anti-zombie heavy unit, specializing in high danger zones. Advanced shotgun training is required.

Hawk Squad: Moderate squad specializing in defending and holding an area for hours. Nothing but construction and free running is required.

Cookie Unit: Medical unit specializing in syringes and medical supplies. First aid is required.

During registration on either the forum, or in game, please state what squad you would like to join, and we'll check out if you have to capabilities or not.

Nonmilitary Subgroups

If you are too low a level to join any military projects, or just don't want to join the armed forces of the group, you have the choice of creating or joining a less dangerous activity. You may choose to create a news team that broadcasts various news, or even makes a web-page newspaper that broadcasts the URL to the newspaper over the radio. You may wish to create a acting team that tours the city in search of an audience. Whatever your idea is, you do not have to be military minded to join BAD-MU. Any activity is accepted.

To start a group, you can email me at blueheadish@yahoo.com or post on the forums the following:

-Your name:

-Member names:

-Type of group:

-Description of group-

-Planned name of group-

-Anything extra (such as future plans, what you will act/ broadcast etc., and anything else you wish to mention):

News

The news area is a place for members of BAD-MU to tell a little about what is going on in Malton. Is an area being swarmed by zombies? Has a certain fire station fallen into zombie hands? Tell us here. Please refrain from telling us your personal stories, such as, "I'm under attack!!!!!111111eleventy-two11!!!" or something similar. Thank you.

Wednesday, November 19th, 7:15 AM (UCT): Buttonville is falling into the yellow zone! Don't let the zeds take it!

Monday, November 17th, 8:06 PM (UCT): In recent news, more suburbs have joined the title ghost town. Along with that, it doesn't take a genius to see that the zombies are moving in to attack the south, but they have seemed to slow down, at least for now. Good luck to all of you out there on the field of battle. We'll be joining you soon :).
