These are user templates fixed to a standard 250px width so they align well when many are used.

The boilerplate Template:Flagbox is often used to create many of these templates.

If you wish to create a new flagbox, please ensure it is valid:

  • The flagbox must be 250px wide.
  • The flagbox should not have any alignment set (and therefore should appear naturally on the left)
  • The flagbox may have no margins.

Ideally you should use one of the boilerplate documentation templates to document and categorize the flagbox.

  • Use {{FlagboxDoc}} without any parameters for any template that has "This user"/"This group"/"This user or group" in it. You should turn this text into the first parameter: {{{1|This user or group}}}
{{FlagboxDoc}}
  • Use {{FlagboxDoc0}} without any parameters for any template that has no parameters.
{{FlagboxDoc0}}
  • Use {{FlagboxDoc1}} for any flagbox with one parameter. You need to give this template parameters to function:
{{FlagboxDoc1|name of first variable|purpose of first variable|an example first variable}}
or if your variable contains any code (including links)
{{FlagboxDoc1|name of first variable|purpose of first variable|an example first variable surrounded by nowiki tags|an example first variable without tags}}
  • Use {{FlagboxDoc2}} for any flagbox with two parameters. You need to give this template parameters to function:
{{FlagboxDoc2|name of first variable|purpose of first variable|name of second variable|purpose of second variable|an example first variable|an example second variable}}
or if any variable contains code (including links)
{{FlagboxDoc2|name of first variable|purpose of first variable|name of second variable|purpose of second variable|an example first variable surrounded by nowiki tags|an example second variable surrounded by nowiki tags|an example first variable without tags|an example second variable without tags}}
  • Use {{FlagboxDoc3}} for any flagbox with three parameters. You need to give this template parameters to function:
{{FlagboxDoc3|name of first variable|purpose of first variable|name of second variable|purpose of second variable|name of third variable|purpose of third variable|an example first variable|an example second variable|an example third variable}}
or if any variable contains code (including links)
{{FlagboxDoc3|name of first variable|purpose of first variable|name of second variable|purpose of second variable|name of third variable|purpose of third variable|an example first variable surrounded by nowiki tags|an example second variable surrounded by nowiki tags|an example third variable surrounded by nowiki tags|an example first variable without tags|an example second variable without tags|an example third variable without tags}}
