They may welcome zedlings and older zethren in the near future. Would you like to know? ;)

I'd like to think that they're a democracy, brother. Not too certain if they feel the same way, but hey!

Cursed Knights

Just like some of you reading this, I was a regular survivor. I minded my own business, enveloping myself in layers of barricades behind the doors that kept me safe, for the last 5 years. Granted, there were times when my home was breached by less-friendly elements, but I paid no mind to this. There was only so much one can do in a quarantine-locked city, after 8 years. Perhaps they turned to killing other survivors because they were bored, or because being immortal meant close to nothing in this wonderful metropolis.

You were immortal, just like everyone else.

I eventually became tired of the running and hiding that defined my "life" for half a decade, and decided to die in pride, for once. After that happened, I remained a corpse, for roughly 3 more years, before I rose to my unsteady limbs, the metallic taste on my tongue beckoning for me to take something with a large amount of fat, and possibly grey matter.

Often times, I'd find a kind survivor giving me a jab, at which point I would feel very odd, as though I were being killed again. At one point, I would not remember both facets of my being at a time. While I was alive, I helped whoever I could, healing the sick and hacking away at the undead, without knowing that sometimes, I am one of those that they call "zeds". However, while I was dead, I would have no memory of ever living, and I would turn against the very people who I would help, or would assist me. Jekyll and Hyde, if you will, except they would never cross paths, or even acknowledge the other's existence.

It was at this time that I have been cured from my terrible bouts of amnesia.

He was clad in chain-mail armour, and the amount of decay in his body would make you presume that he had to be at least 900 years old. You can be convinced that he was a secular knight, like one of those you'd find in those stories of old. Instead of bringing barhah to me, he brought me something far greater.

They call it a curse, but I find it a godsend.

How do I join?

Simply groan at the Cursed Knights Discord channel.

Where are they?

This is something I cannot ascertain. For the most part, they have been seen around Northeastern Malton.

Do you accept new members?

They may welcome zedlings and older zethren in the near future. Would you like to know? ;)

Who even leads them?

I'd like to think that they're a democracy, brother. Not too certain if they feel the same way, but hey!
