Emergency Broadcast System

The Malton Emergency Broadcast System, or MEBS, is a recently-implemented piece of the game. It is hidden in an office building somewhere in Malton.

The Creation of MEBS

As can be seen by searching for Emergency Broadcast System on the wiki, there have been many suggestions involving an Emergency Broadcast System for Malton. Some were good, some were bad, but ultimately, they were involved, however indirectly, in the creation of the MEBS.

Discovery

Announced in the News shows, the MEBS was implemented on Urban Dead's fourth birthday.

The EBS was discovered on July 3rd. Searching the building revealed the room and also a powered down radio transmitter. Zombie attacks later destroyed the transmitter. The building was quickly recaptured and powered, but a new transmitter was needed.

In what is believed to be the first transmission, a broadcast was made by a player referring to themselves as "Skip" on July 20th.
