Hive Mind is a slang term for an organized group of zombies who use a forum or other method of out of game communication to coordinate their attacks. All of the zombie groups listed on this Wiki can probably be considered hive minds of some sort.

This is a term derived from the in-game observation of the uncanny coordination organized zombies can display.

A zombie who is not part of a hive mind is sometimes referred to as a feral.
