The Eye of Ra
"The Eye of Ra" is the flagship unit for all MCDU ground forces stationed inside Malton City. The Eye of Ra is a portion of the MCDU, which is an official member of the Department of Emergency Management.
Group Backstory
When the city of Malton erupted in chaos, a firefighter named Fire Marshall Bill quickly moved to organize the city's civil servants into a Civil Defense Unit, much the same as he had been a part of back in his days in the United States, namely, Tennessee. Recognizing the need for public assistance, as well as the futility of trying to escape the quarantine, Bill decided the best way to help people was to organize and build a paramilitary unit to combat the growing zombie hordes. He would gather like minded individuals, all possessing their own skill sets, and band them together into an efficient fighting force.
The Malton Civil Defense Unit was born and consists of several units. Unit 1 is made up of some of the most senior officers and soldiers and remains mobile throughout the suburb currently being inhabited by the MCDU as a whole.
Group Goals
The goal of the Eye of Ra is to oversee operations on the ground level, while providing spot support to primary and secondary objectives being carried out by mainline units. The unit's personnel are able to make real time decisions with the knowledge at hand and quickly move to ensure operational success. Other responsibilities of the unit include working closely with the DEM as a partner group, participating in the DEM council as a member, upkeep of all MCDU symbology, rank and awards as well as recruitment.

"The Eye of Ra" is Unit 1 of the Malton Civil Defense Unit, which is itself an affiliate of the Department of Emergency Management.
Operational History
- Operation Shopping Spree
- The Command Unit oversaw and directed a large scale suburban renewal and occupation of the suburb of Tollyton for over a month. During this time, the suburb had very little zombie activity and resistance, and this successful campaign saw the local mall, Woodroffe Mall, held and maintained by human hands. Upon completion of this mission, control and upkeep of the greater Tollyton area were handed over to a local group, The Fortress, for safe keeping.
