The Malton Murder Awards for 2012 (aka “MALTIES: APOCALYPSE”) are currently in planning stages. The theme will be a return to the original concept combined with an embracing of the pending Apocalypse. As such, the award presentation date is already set: 21 December, 2012.
Postmortem
It has been ascertained that, believing the apocalypse to be imminent, ‘the “Malties” 2012 planning committee’, consisting of ‘Archduke d’Œuvre’ and ‘Professor DT’, unanimously voted to abscond with all awards and funds to an as-yet unknown tropical destination, possibly Aruba, and “party it all away.” As such, the likelihood of their recovery or any further form of resolution is slim.
No further documentation has been recovered, although numerous dead bodies were located in their wake.
