| '''July 11th 2010''' Mall currently as of 1900hrs PST has 7 zombies SE sector and 1 NW sector. Both sectors mentioned is without power. Many infected due to zeds inside mostly going to every survivor and just biting. Possible beach head tactic as well as infections are limiting counter offensive effectiveness. - [[User:Gogorat|Gogomouse]] 03:10, 12 July 2010 (BST)

Mitchem Mall
Vinetown [85,65] – [86,66]
Basic Info:
- Malls are an excellent place to find a wide range of items; the only major items that cannot be found here are revivification syringes and fuel cans. As such, Malls are frequently used as safehouses and fortresses by survivors. Zombies often check inside (when they can get in), and organized zombie groups sometimes lay siege to them. They are listed as a Tactical Resource Point.
- Characters with the Shopping skill can loot specific stores. Those without will find these items at random:
- Bookstore: books, poetry books.
- Drugstore: first aid kits.
- Gun Store: pistols, pistol clips, shotguns, shotgun shells.
- Hardware Store: crowbars, fire axes, flare guns, spray cans, knives, portable generators, toolboxes.
- Liquor Store: beer, wine.
- Sporting Goods: baseball bats, Binoculars, cricket bats, fencing foils, golf clubs, hockey sticks, pool cues, ski poles, tennis rackets.
- Tech Store: GPS units, mobile phones, radios, radio transmitters.

Location
Mitchem Mall is a 2x2-building shopping mall in the suburb of Vinetown.
Coordinates: [85, 65], [85, 66], [86, 65], [86, 66]
History
Constructed in 1977, Mitchem Mall was not the success it was meant to be. It simultaneously caused the relocation of a number of successful shops that had resided on the site, and set unit rentals too high so no-one could replace them. Over the years the purpose-built stores were subdivided into smaller units, providing a different feel from most other Malls in Malton. Mitchem was much more like an indoor marketplace, where large chain stores rubbed shoulders with tiny record stores and antiques
shops.
Another oddity of Mitchem Mall was that it was the only mall in Malton to stock fuel cans, until Fat Sam's Big Fat One-Stop Fuel Shop caught fire in 2003 and gutted the entire third floor. After this incident, Malton's council passed a by-law prohibiting the sale or stockpiling of fuel in any of Malton's malls, as well as banning smoking in Malton's malls. To this day, survivors curse Fat Sam for not taking better care with his fag-ends, as fuel is the second most important item for survivors that cannot be found in malls - the most important being syringes (intravenous drug use was discouraged by mall security). Cigarettes are impossible to find anywhere.
