Leadership: Popsicle Pete
Goals: Unknown, presumably the assimilation of all humans
Recruitment Policy: Volunteer/Forced
Contact: Disciple Kurt Cocaine

Popsicle Pete is the leader of a mysterious cult. His influence spreads wide across the United States. Popsicle Pete and his group of followers have often committed acts of horrible violence against those who are unable or unwilling to join forces.

History

It is still unknown when Popsicle Pete began killing random children and inducting them to be his followers, but it is assumed to have begun in the '30s. Lost children in the woods would be approached by him, and through unknown means, would be forced to obey him. Popsicle Pete would offer his new recruits several fate cards, telling them that one was 'certain death'. Those who had not chosen poorly were taken away, off to serve him until the mercy of death.

Sometime after the original killings, Popsicle Pete got braver, and began attacking groups of children, and later, adults, including police officers. Those who survived his attacks (by mercy on his part), were presumably forced to join his cult.

Popsicle Pete also presented an unnamed boy with a medal for his 'deeds', which included slaughtering at least two children mocking him for looking odd. It can only be assumed that this boy (noted by Popsicle Pete to be 'pumpkin headed') became one of Popsicle Pete's followers.

Popsicle Pete has been shown to be exceptionally strong, capable of killing a man by throwing a baseball at his head. It is also assumed he has some sort of otherworldly powers at his disposal.

Malton Involvement

The Popsicle Pete following was brought into Malton by Kurt Cocaine, an escaped convict, during the beginning of the outbreak. The escaped convict has since been tricking and coercing other survivors to join his master's following.

The 'movement', as it is called by his followers, has remained quiet and noticed, only because Popsicle Pete wants it to be that way (for now, at least). Survivors down on their luck are often approached by members of Popsicle Pete's following, and offered food and supplies. It is after their trust is gained that they are assimilated, either by brainwashing or threats of death, into becoming slaves to Popsicle Pete.

Any followers showing any signs of weakness (which may or may not be their own fault) are dealt with by execution, either at the hands of another follower, or Popsicle Pete himself.

Members of the group follow Popsicle Pete's orders no matter what, even if they mean certain death (for example, an order to rush into a crowd of the undead, or to shoot themselves in the head).

Disciples

Popsicle Pete's followers are usually people who have been promised (perhaps falsely) that they would be spared if they devoted themselves mindlessly to him. Some of the followers have been brainwashed or tricked into pledging allegiance to Popsicle Pete.

In Real Life

Popsicle Pete was a mascot for Popsicle brand ice-pops, from 1939 to 1995. In Seanbaby's Cracked.com comic book parodies, Popsicle Pete is portrayed as a psychopathic killer.
