Revision as of 23:17, 14 February 2009

Incidently

If I make it i have no qualms about you putting up my exact character profile. Its been in the public domain for months. --RosslessnessWant a Location Image? 11:26, 9 January 2009 (UTC)

Done. Now don't you be calling this The Borehamwood 111!!1 --Calem 06:42, 1 February 2009 (UTC)

It's exactly 100 right now --~~~~ [talk] 10:19, 7 February 2009 (UTC)

Can we put our character files up there? Alot of people had initially used them to communicate between each other in the early days of Borehamwood till zeds started adding us and following us to the new locations, so that got thrown away. However, many of us had an aim to make it to the Top 100 and have character names and profile ID's of those that fell and are still active (friendly zeds gotta love them) in the city and its surrounds. As a side note, AmIDead5 who was on the Top 100 Monroeville List died at 156 odd survivors IIRC, and if you compare lists Kazypoo2 is active in the Top 100 Borehamwood whilst his alt kazypoo made it to the last remaining survivors of Monroeville. I can also say that there is at least 1 other remaining survivor from Monroeville witha character alive and well in Borehamwood and that having the only obvious brother/alt in the city of Borehamwood making it to the Top 100 has made myself as Auretious Taak the prime target in break ins recently. No longer is the level 15 or so player being hit, but little old me is being smacked up first and foremost. So, will the list eventually put up the character profiles of everyone in the Top 100, or better, put them up when they have fallen so as not to interfere with any potential ingame shenanigans? Cheers all, Ram Rock Ed First. P.S. After all these years I still have no idea how to use the wiki, heh.--Ram Rock Ed First 18:10 10 february 2009.

I'm all for adding every profile link. It would make the list fun to read, the only reason it wasn't done for the MV100 is that some people objected. Considering there's a page where you can check the profiles if you know the name I see no point in hiding them. BTW, I count 11 different B100 survivors (some with more than one character) that also belong to the MV100. There's one more survivor that used the same name in both cities, besides kazypoo, but the statistic anomality has to be Old Man Tyree: one of the very first chars created in MV, still active to this day (last 12), never idled out. His Borehamwood alt was also one of the first created and it's still kicking, and this guy is lucky too, I've seen him narrowly escape death more than half a dozen times.--Calem 12:58, 10 February 2009 (UTC)
Its seems weird that I'm not trying to eat the other survivors.....--RosslessnessWant a Location Image? 20:58, 12 February 2009 (UTC)

Potential flaws

The main problem, for which I apologize and ask for help: this list lacks 2 names. It lists 108 out of 109 characters. I altered the names of The MV100 when the list was made public. This is not the case for the B100, and even though there's a site that allows you to inspect a UD profile if you know the char's name, this is mostly of no significance (maybe a very diligent person could get a very rough idea of survivor groups?). --Calem 06:42, 1 February 2009 (UTC)

I doubt it. The groups that exist in reality in the game now, are not at all reflected in the group name bit on peoples profiles. The groups listed tend to be peoples original groups, which often have scattered, and no longer exist. The groups that function well now are composites of people from all kinds of groups, and often don't have names. --Zarneverfike 14:12, 1 February 2009 (UTC)
Probably true, although the six remaining members of Big Survivors Little Survivor are all sitting in the same building as we speak. --RosslessnessWant a Location Image? 18:53, 1 February 2009 (UTC)
After a few days of having a stable survivor pop, there was a spike to 114 and now it's down to 110. The problem appears to have solved itself. --Calem 10:32, 3 February 2009 (UTC)

Weird, i together with another zombie friend killed PennyAnte yesterday, but i don't find her name in the list to strike it out --~~~~ [talk] 20:12, 12 February 2009 (UTC)

He'd only just idled back in, so didn't count. --RosslessnessWant a Location Image? 20:30, 12 February 2009 (UTC)

Thanks for the info. Ah, the tasty burrito, he made it a long way if we consider he used opened bldgs and didn't roll with a group. --Calem 07:52, 6 February 2009 (UTC)

Not to look a gift horse in the mouth - I like your flagbox sooo much. It is what gave me the impetus to pimp it. Not knowing much wikinese - one of the catalysts, I found the pimpability very, very difficult, so I decided to try an AdvancedBox, but I couldn't figure out how to keep it from centering on the page, so I ended up doing a usertemplate from scratch. I hope you don't mind. No offense. Just wanted to try one without all the usual white space of the typical template, to somewhat fit the show's color scheme. Thanks for making that, and for providing the will to practice wikicode.

I can't seem to get the header title size right, to bold (help). Also, is there a way to standardize this into a brief-code template like yours? Everyone, feel free to improvise and repost. --Dr Walter Bishop 22:05, 14 February 2009 (UTC)
I bolded it for you. --Pestolence(talk) 22:13, 14 February 2009 (UTC)
Uh, thanks, Pestolence! I got the error we were editing at the same time. I hit the back button, and erased your work. I'll lay off & come back later. Sorry! Edit: I went back to the history and repaired what I broke. Thanks! --Dr Walter Bishop 22:20, 14 February 2009 (UTC)
