Some are NecroTech Buildings and can be identified by the "[NT]" appended to their name if you have the NecroTech Employment skill. Office buildings are tall enough for survivors to commit suicide from. They also provide a vantage point from which binoculars can be used. Office buildings can be barricaded normally.

Once a thriving office complex, Hatson Building was well known for the 2 story waterfall in the lobby. In the early outbreaks, many survivors camped out there using the source of water to sustain themselves. As it became evident that rescue was never coming survivors turned on each other squabbling over the dwindling resources. Eventually, the once breathtaking fountain was clogged with human waste and used bandages. It stands now a health hazard potentially spreading disease and serving as a breeding ground for rats.
