The Shield

With the suburbs of Malton falling in ruin, survivors were forced into the streets. The unfortunate often times had no shelter, being left swaying in the wind. With hope being lost, survivors often passed by their fellow man...with no regard for their wounds. Frustrated by the lack of humanity, a medical doctor pledge to bring back compassion and health to Malton. The Shield was setup to render aid to all survivors injured and left with no cure for their aliments. In efforts to continue the good deeds, a secondary role was established...maintain all hospitals. As hospital lights continued to burn through the night, the wounded were treated and released....soon word began to spread of the goodwill brought about by ... The Shield.
