| Once again, the Surrealists have returned to preserve and create fine art in Malton. They are looking for citizens of Malton with the desire to desire. Without the laws of yester-year to pester them, they are searching out the intellectual, insane, and, most of all, the all-of-the-aboves. Those willing to randomly fire pistols in the street, run naked through the streets of Barrville debating 'pataphysics, enter deep states of hypnosis, create art through any means necessary, prosecute art theft, and/or have scones with a Rummer and Marshal in the same night should apply.

| |
| The Surrealists, a.k.a. Malton Art Force, are a fairly chaotic group and currently consist of rather ostentatiously dressed members. All those of a slightly odd disposition are welcome (no potatoes).

| The Surrealists were founded in the midst of apocalyptic chaos in an Irish Bar in Malton, shortly before the whole zombie outbreak thing, in answer to the increasing abandonment of Maltons´ rich cultural artwork.

| June again is still the best month for the Surrealists, as the group started its second renaissance under the leadership of [[User:Dux Ducis|Dux Ducis]]. Tea and scones are still available for all on the talk page. Fresh ones will be added every morning.

| In November, stirrings of a Surrealist revival bubbled among the scholars of Southall Mansion. After a recreation of a Max Ernst artwork was found in spray-paint, it became evident that the avant garde had once again resurfaced. With the blessing of the former Surrealist head, the shift was formalized.

| The policies of the Surrealists are still under development, and will be improved over the older, more archaic ones.

| The Surrealists remain an incoherent whole, and as such aims and objectives are somewhat difficult to pin down. General strategy has been observed however:

| The Surrealists aim to secure and protect artworks. They appear to have been working at random however, selecting few of Malton´s most valuable or even culturally respected installations.

| A secondary aim of raising awareness of Malton´s cultural plight appears to have been put into action, with severly limited success. It does appear that a spraycan in the hands of a Surrealist produces little by way of legible value.

| The plan to protect Malton´s artwork is proving especially difficult however- they are constantly under threat from looters, gun wielding philistines, graffiti and the living dead. The Surrealists believe they will prevail however, as many of Malton´s citizens appear to disregard the major installations altogether.
