The members of this group are all fans of the Skaven, a race in the tabletop games of Warhammer Fantasy Battles. The original five members who actually formed this group are all active and contributing members of The Under Empire community that gathered in the Urban Dead game on request of one of the great moderators of the forums known as Nightlord Ratmish. The Story:
Long-long has the Skaven race lived in the tunnels and sometimes even sewers under the lands of men. The human governs and scientists have always denied the existence of skaven over the ages, to prevent panic, chaos and disaster... And luckily, the Skaven preferred it that way to. Skaven are a very treacherous, backstabbing, blackmailing and plotting race, preferring to live in secrecy to brew their plans and work themselves to the top ranks of their own society while the humans above them grow ever weaker, until it is the right time to strike and claim rule over the human empires. In Malton... The time of the Skaven has come. The city is subject to a disease of some sort, that can turn men into zombies and worse. The city was isolated from the rest of the world, and so in carantine and comeplete chaos, the city was vulnerable... On 17 September 2012, the bells on the churches rang thirteen times instead of just twelve and the skaven came crawling from their lairs, gathering together in their new base, looting and pillaging the buildings for guns, weapons and other useful items, preparing to strike and enforce their rule over the lesser races.
