| ===Arguments for Combat Revives===
| |
|
| |
| Although career zombies are against combat revives, it should be noted that not all players playing as zombies at a given time are career zombies. Such players tend to play as whatever side they are on when they log in (survivor if they're alive, zombie if they are dead), some even going so far as to switch group affiliation depending on the current state of their character's nervous system.
| |
|
| |
| As these players are unlikely to swtich sides unless a game event outside their control forces them (that is: they won't jump from a building if alive, nor will they go and stand in a revive point queue if dead), combat revives are necessary for them to make the switch from zombie to survivor. For such players, a elimination of combat revives (whether total or virtual) results in their characters being forced to the play as zombies unless they accidentally end a session on a sparsely populated revive point.

|
| |
| Arguments from this side with regards to zombies who complain about combat revives include: (Explain these better. Perhaps ask someone who puts them forth, so as to get better explanations?)
| |
|
| |
| # Buy brain rot:
| |
| # Change tactics upon breaking into a powered NecroTech:
| |
| # Change the syringe dynamic: some of these players agree that there is a currently an issue with the over-abundance of syringes found throughout Malton. However, the standard form of this argument isn't that players need to stop reviving random zombies, but rather that the game itself needs to be tweaked to lower the availability and/or effectiveness of syringes. (Much as NecroNet Access caused an over-abundance of syringes, a suitable game mechanic change could be made to change this, rather than forcing players to ignore valid play methods.)

| (And yes, I did make the Let the Living be Live Campaign page. It doesn't mean that I don't sympathise with zombies (both of my characters are currently zombies, and busy munching on harmanz), it's just that I feel the "But you shouldn't do it because we want to be dead!" argument is a weak one to make.)
