Indio65 is the leader of several known "Anti-Progress" movements designed to keep Malton the same in the interests of keeping a balance. Additionally, he also is a proponent of a Wikipedia-esque rule and bureaucratic system in the Urban Dead wiki. He claims his ideas are designed to "bring order to the chaos that now rules the Urban Dead game."

The War On The Yahoos

Indio's first and some say most well-known movement began when he had declared war on users who joined Urban Dead through the infamous Yahoo article. Finally, on Thursday July 26, 2007, Indio65 declared his victory over the Yahoos.

Reasons

The users in question had joined for cheap kicks (perhaps they expected Runescape, but with zombies), not realising the unique nature of the game. As such, they cloged the server and swelled the stats page while contributing nothing of value, spamed safehouses with cries of "how I mine for EXP" or "Zombie tried to kill me WTF this game sux," and gave new users of true merit a bad name just because they joined during the "Yahooaclypse." They had unbalanced the game for a time by giving the zeds free meals and spamed the revive points, and thus denyed survivors who really needed revives the service.

Indeed, many veteran users had evoked a policy of not giving level 1 zeds revives, effectively ostricizing new players.

Proposed Solution

Indio began his campaign on 26 June 2007. He attempted to rally support for what he called "The Anti 6-18 Movement," citing the date the swell began.

His plan involved making the "Yahoos," as he refered to them, feel unwelcome, rather than blatent PKing. Usage of grafitti to tag Anti-16iment messages provided the core of his campaign. Radio broadcasts were used for a few days until his felllow surviors kicked him out of the safehouse the transmitter was in.

Criticism

Critics refered to Indio as "Yahoo hater" and "that Anti 6-18 guy." They believed he denyed new users the chance to improve themselves and contribute to UD.

The End of the War

At long last, on July 26th, 2007, Indio could find no trace of the Yahoos on the Urban Dead server. A victory roar rang out from his followers, though people in the area at the time thought they just heard one guy screaming at the top of his lungs. After a day of celebration and merriment, Indio disbanded his one-man group of "Anti 6-18," declaring a "return to normalcy." His nonexsistent followers held a toast to their leader and went their separate ways.

Indio65 was recently asked if he would turn his attention to LUE, noting he attacked them early on in his campaign. Indio simply replied "Their time will come one day. For now, at least, Malton is rid of one of its greatest threats, and that's enough for me."

The Changeback Society

On August 20, 2007, Indio announced his new, broad-range plan. Rather than go after individual problems he had addressed in the past, such as LUE and the Suggestions page, he decided the best course of action would be to encompass all his ideas for "changing Malton for the better, by making sure Malton doesn't change" into one, large orginization he called "The Changeback Society."

Reasons

Indio argued that all of the biggest problems in Urban Dead came not from missing features, but from those who try to force change on the game, such as LUE and like minded individuals. He claimed that UD was fine the way it was, and that trying to force changes that didn't need to be made had a dentrimental effect on the quality of gameplay.

Objectives

Indio founded The Changeback Society to counteract the sweeping reforms with "sweeping reverts." The members are sworn to denounce new ideas anyway possible while undermining the figures who are the masterminds of such changes.

WikiLaw and Order

Indio is also a vocal activist in bringing order to the Urban Dead Wiki. He believes the current state of the wiki is "nothing short of chaos and confusion," and that nothing of importance is getting done. He proposes that the UD Wiki adopts a set of rules and guidelines based on the examples set by the "great and successful experiment" of Wikipedia.

In addition, Indio believes that an efficient and strict bureaucracy is the key to maintaining order in the wiki.
