| What is Dead Flag? |
| We are revolutionaries. |
| We aren't fighting merely for "survival" – we recognize that vitality (the state of being alive) is, these days, a fluid and temporary notion, taking only a slow heartbeat's time to switch between living and unliving and back again. What we are fighting for is freedom: freedom from authority, from oppression, from boredom. We have no intention of quelling the chaos of Malton and restoring the old order. We are no longer citizens, employees, consumers, servants, apathetic bystanders. For the first time in our lives, we have the chance to live (and die) with meaning, with significance, with control over our own destiny. |
| We will stop at nothing to destroy oppression. |
| We have no gods and no masters. We recognize none as our superior, none as our inferior, and all as our equal. Oppression can take many forms, and we oppose each and every one. This means that we are hostile to the very concept of someone holding power or authority over another, or insisting that they are superior based on their race, sex, or any other arbitrary quality. |
| We welcome anyone, regardless of whether their heart still beats. |
| It's become apparent that not all zombies are, as some sources would claim, unthinking monstrosities with a one-track-mind for murder. Anecdotal evidence does suggest that a large number of zombies are hostile toward humans; at the same time, some percentage of them have appeared friendly or indifferent, or even openly declaring that they will work with humans. Though both sides of the war in Malton are clearly frightened and hostile at the thought that their race could be erased from the city, it is clear to us that there are zombies who are willing to cooperate with humans. If there are members of the undead who share our ideals, we will welcome them with open arms. |
