Sergeant Jack Raiden of the Alpha Squad leader was currently helping to aid survivors in getting out of Malton, but was trapped when the gate shut. Already used to rationing his food in training, he has been in numerous OP's before the Malton Incident. He has a notable Scar running down the length of his face on his left eye, inflicted by a zombie carrying a hunting knife.

History (1981-2005)

Jack was born in 1981, and grew up in California. When his father died on 9/11, Jack signed up in the Marines to get revenge. He didn't find revenge, just a hospital in Malton with a broken leg and shrapnel wounds. When they healed, he went back up for service in the Marines, but was instead directly assigned to the Malton Incident. As soon as he came back to the city 2 years later, in 2005, he knew something was wrong. People were wandering around the street mindlessly, and the Corps Higher-Ups told him to shoot them in the head. As soon as he pulled out in his helicopter with his squad, a zombie that had been stashed away in a cupboard had finally broken the door, killing the pilot. The heli crashed near the border, and Jack was the only survivor. He found the gate leading out of Malton was sealed, and he was trapped.

Life in Malton (2005-Present)

Losing his squad, and his friends, killed Jack spiritually. His first run-in with undead had lead to his gun jamming, becoming useless. He scavenged medical kits and food for survival, and a fire-ax, GPS unit, and a phone for other uses.
