Dieter was a member of the noble house Von Carstein. Born in the year 1695 AD, he was fascinated with death from an early age, as he watched a murder :victim bleed out.
Dieter studied death extensively as he grew up. He wrote a treatise on the subject, one that saw him branded a heretic by the catholic church. Hounded by agents of the Vatican, Dieter fled to protestant England. In the small collection :of towns that would one day become Malton, Dieter conducted horendous experiments. When he finally was caught and executed for his heinous crimes, he was :interred in a crypt. A stone and oaken crypt that lay undisturbed for the next three centuries, as Malton grew and thrived. It would not always be so.
Dark rumors whispered of the revival drugs and their origins point to corpses exhumed from their resting places and forcibly reanimated. Dieter Von :Carstein, architect of death and
fiend of Malton myth, was returned to life. During his short time alive again, Dieter worked closely with Necro Tech. Indeed, the infamous killer and :would be necromancer may have even had a hand in the outbreak. He turned on his masters, and escaped into the chaos of the outbreak. Dieter, ever :obsessed with death, deliberately allowed himself to be bitten severely. After a day of allowing the illness to consume him, he committed suicide by poison. His studies and theories on the nature of the infection were proven correct.
He arose as one of the undead. And though he lacked the ability to speak normaly, he was quick to master what passed for an undead language.
Now he seeks to gain power in his new, deathless state. He seeks to visit the wrath of the dead upon the living, and to humble those who would defy his fellow walking corpses. Above all though, he seeks those who think themselves mighty, and he seeks to make them suffer. A lot.
