The reason why Zombie lord had the {{}} around his name is because it is a templated sig. It pulls the content from User:Zombie Lord/sig2 and inserts it into the page. If you want your own templated sig, then you could add a forward slash after your username and create your own. Otherwise, just use the ~~~~ after you are done with your comment.
