Kikashie, I have a proposition to swing by the Dulston Alliance for voting. It's an idea I came up with a while back, and I ran it by R'i'p, but didn't go very far with it. It would be more of an idea for after Dulston is fixed, but I wanted to give you time to mull it over and work out the kinks a bit, before I suggest it to the Dulston Alliance in general.

It would be a safezone, for both zombies and survivors.At the moment, I'm coniderin Oatley bank, as it is an EHB building with an entrypoint next door, and no adjacent resource buildings, making it fair for both sides.

The idea would be that through broadcasting, graffiti, and the wiki, we'd advertise an associated constitution, where any member can sign and be free from fighting, under the condition that they too don't attack anyone. Anyone who did so would be instantly removed from the list, and representatives from other groups elected as Safezone marshalls would remove known abusers when they arrived.

These marshalls could either be elected in groups, with one fro each group in the local area, including zombie and PKer, or in overall elections held every month, with 3 or 4 survivors, 3 or 4 pkers, and 3 or 4 zombies. The most important part would be no fighting, even against wanted pkers.

This would initially not be very effective, but as more groups signed the pldge, it would become more effective, this being the reason that I wish to start with the DA's support.

The merits are that if any player wished to leave UD for a few days, they'd have a place where they wouldn't be killed. Also, if you want a place to stay, then you'll have one. The negatives are fairly blatant, that zombies would use it as a vantage point, but survivors could easily do the same, so it would still be balanced. Also, if the system were to be abused, it would make Oatley bank, a fairly useless and unused location a target, drawing fire from nearby targets such as Treweeke, Blaise General and Parrot towers.

Please, tell me what you think, and be critical, but I am likely to forward this to the DA and other groups eventually, with your comments to help me.
