Description

A rather nondescript street, with mostly brick buildings and old trees on the sides. In the middle of the street is what used to be a school bus, since long picked apart by scavengers.

History

Garson Row was originally named Garçon Row, French for "boy". The name was however changed in 1912, after a period of strong anti-French sentiments in Britain. The origin of the name Garçon is unknown, but it was believed that the area had a small surge of immigrants coming in from France during the early 19th century.

Since the Malton Incident in 2005, the street has been largely abandoned.
