Who in their right mind says a peashooter can take down a zombie?

Seargent: We wish to express our deepest regret in the death of Pfc Downey. However, we wish to again remind you that under Quarantine Code 404BNF we are not authorized to send automatic firearms into the city. Furthermore, research by top men demonstrates that your standard issue .22 caliber revolver should be more than sufficient in disabling the undead. Maintain your position and await further reinforcement.

Command: Private Downey was just killed today. He was attempting to stop a break-in via a side door, but his gun didn't seem to stop the zombies, only irritate them. Even when it looked like one went down, it got up minutes later! They got him while he was reloading. Of all the guns you could have sent us in with, why antiqued revolvers? I'm sure if we had standard-issue firearms, this would have been avoidable. Frankly, even the civilians are questioning why we're coming in nearly unarmed. The zombies have broken through the door again, requesting reinforcment.

Seargent: Great to hear you have arrived safely! Don't mind the local militants; our top men have confirmed that they will most definately probably respect your military background, and will not engage your unit. They also want to remind you that under Quarantine Code 404BNF we are only authorized to send units in with light sidearms, due to the risk of rouge militant factions scavanging them from KIA units and turning them against new troops.

Command: We arrived at the mall safely. However, on the helicopter over I discovered that the other squads on board had been only been issued loaded revolvers as well. The closest thing to "heavier arms armed" they had was an extra clip each. Even worse, the local militants were rather indifferent to our arrival. Many of them were better armed than we were, mostly with hunting shotguns and what appeared to be the same revolvers we were issued. How are we to maintain peace when we're the weakest link?

Seargent: There was no mistake in your shipment. Due to regulation Quarentine Code 404BNF, we are unable to send reserve auxillary units into the city with automatic firearms. The other shipment you saw is bound for the New Arkham border, in order to help prevent what our top men expect to be a looming border rush. The combat squads in your platoon will be issued heavier arms.

I have recieved the alotment of firearms for my unit, and am reporting an error in our shipment. The next shipment to come in had several automatic weapons. Please send a replacement shipment ASAP.
