"It Is A Plague Born Not Of This World!"
In Malton, the darkness prevails, yet in the ruins of despair, there are small glimmers of light. Survivors of the undead plague have banded together, uniting under the banners of science, medicine, and the once proud military machine. But there are some that have not joined their ranks. Instead, they walk a different path. Theirs is an agenda with no right or wrong side for they are a law unto themselves. Their methods are unknown but their objective is simple.
The plague is not of this world. Decades ago, secret government agencies worked together with extra-terrestrial beings with the intent of augmenting human DNA with alien chromosomes. The human race would jump the ladder of evolution to become super beings. But we were all deceived.
Instead of evolution, there was gross genetic mutation. The aliens were aware that such results would occur, for it was their grand intention. Through this undead contagion the human race would self-exterminate and clear the way for the global colonization of the our planet by the otherworldly beings. They are watching and waiting.
But there is resistance.
We are the self-appointed protectors of Malton, and of the human race. Amoral, shrouded in secrecy, answerable to no one, we are a covert operations division of a much larger organization committed to regaining control of our planet from the alien virus; at any cost. We have no law, no conscience and there is no way of swaying us from our goal. We are the shadowy glow in the otherworldly darkness.
