LOCKETTSIDE BOYS

The Lockettside Boys are a rag tag gang of survivors which formed back in 2007. Since then the LoBo have dedicated their lives to the protection of Lockettside, their club, and each other. For most, Lockettside has been their home since the beginning. They are not afraid to die protecting it, even if it is several times. All they ask is you respect their suburb and you will have no trouble as you walk upon it. Those who help protect it are forever considered a friend and will always be able to count on the Lockettside Boys for aid.

The LoBo's Headquarters and favorite hangout is Club Frankland. All are welcome to come in and have a drink, or several.

There is no form of rank in the Lockettside Boys, but they do have their established leaders. Though their power doesn't stretch much beyond keeping the men informed of situations and the progress of events. Everyone fights together no matter the differences between those in the group. Members know their purpose, whatever it may be, and are simply asked to do it to the best of their abilities.

RECRUITMENT POLICY

Anyone can join the Lockettside Boys whether they are a level 1 or level 40. All classes are welcome since everyone can serve a purpose in some way or another. All that is asked of a person when joining is their loyalty to those in the group. If you want to join, then you join, no paperwork or the permission of one of the members needed. The Lockettside Boys are more a family than a gang of survivors, all for one and one for all, and when a new family member is born you must accept them with open arms.

NEWS

"September 27 2021" -- The LoBos would like to report that general neighborhood maintenance is on the rise and that sleeping outdoors is still not recommended. There has also been some talk of the Lockettside Chamber of Commerce and the Take Pride in Lockettside committee wanting to revive some seasonal activities in the area. --Harvey Goolap 14:33, 27 September 2021 (UTC)

April 30 2021-- So things have gotten a little more active in the Lockettside area as of late. Fortunately for us, we had some time over the last few years to finish building our dirigible fleet from scrap playground equipment, canvas from abandoned carnival tents, and the hot air we had captured over the years from the endless boasting of our enemies. So fear not good citizens of Lockettside should you look to the skies and wonder what new horror descends upon you. Our flagship the "Mighty Jackhammer!" is here to deliver semi-cool beverages and assorted aid with the same flair and lack of organization that we have come to be known for over the years. Due to some unforeseen renovation work going on currently around Lockettside we have decided to make the well-known and seldom well remembered social activities at club Frankland mobile until such time as refurbishment of the area is completed. --Harvey Goolap 20:12, 30 April 2021 (UTC)

September 17 2020-- Well, it's time for the yearly update again. Currently a lot of activity around the club and Lockettside in general. There has been a fairly steady undead presence for several months and the Lobos and friends have been doing what we can to provide high quality entertainment to the masses while chastising the riff raff whenever possible. We have tabled our current PsyOps program as we discovered that we had not in actuality developed psychic powers through the consumption of copiuos amounts of Jackhammer! although we are leaving the project open as it was pointed out that 38,364 gallons consumed might not be an adequate amount, so research is ongoing. The club still maintains a 10 drink minimum when visiting and we would appreciate your relaying any psychic power experiences you may have after Jackhammer! consumption. --Harvey Goolap 18:25, 17 September 2020 (UTC)

September 01 2019-- Minimal activity currently around the club. An occasional pking by people that either dislike JackHammer! or possibly karaoke, (both seem unlikely though) are the order of the day. If you're bored or looking for some quiet time to reminisce about the good old days swing by club Frankland and say hi and help yourself to a Jackhammer! or six. Also, Fausta if you see this, stop by and catch up! --Harvey Goolap 18:40, 01 September 2019 (UTC)

July 23 2018-- Quite times in Lockettside these days. Most buildings are powered and few if any zombies roam the streets. A few new survivors wander the area though and if anyone wants to stop in for a cold Jackhammer! or just to sing some karaoke stop by club Frankland and introduce yourselves. --Harvey Goolap 14:46, 23 July 2018 (UTC)

July 12 2014-- Buildings are barricaded and powered. No undead on the streets. Booze is flowing like a river inside Club Frankland. Good times and good summer days. Our new entry point at the Junkyard above the Pursey Building has been well maintained and has been quite useful so far. Good call by Holt. Went around today and set a few transmitters back to the 26.11 frequency. Hopefully we can get the survivors that are spread over the suburb communicating once again and working towards helping one another. All in all, everything seems to be flowing smoothly once again. -- Joe Riggs 17:58, 12 July 2014 (UTC)

July 4 2014-- Happy 4th of July everyone! Remember to always practice good safety when you are blowing up zombies tonight! The suburb has been rather peaceful for the past week. Seems to be only one zombie sticking around to pester the low level survivors stuck outside. So there isn't much to worry about for those of you who get drunk and pass out on the street. And if bad luck happens to with you today. We always have enough syringes to get you back on your feet. We welcome today our first new member in quite some time. Welcome Iesu Kurosu. We are glad to have you with us. Hopefully you are the first of many to join our ranks in 2014. Have a Happy Independence Day! -- Joe Riggs 17:57, 4 July 2014 (UTC)

June 14 2014-- Man, it has been quite some time since I have made an update on here. Yesterday was Friday the 13th. Unlucky to most, but a pretty good day for the LoBo. The suburb seems fairly clear of the undead. But there is still a handful hanging around. Though they aren't making much impact on their own. Lights are turning on everywhere as generators and gasoline finds its way around the suburb. Booze is flowing steady inside the club once again. The drunks are already gathering and passing out on anything available. It is good to see the Boys still going shots for shots seven years after its birth. Numbers have dwindled, but the spirit of the group still holds strong with those who remain. I'm glad to be back. Haha I forgot how to sign this damn thing so this will have to do. -- Riggs

June 26 2013-- We are still active and drunk as shit! We've been on a bender for the last three years and nobody was lucid enough to post. Road trip coming up of the karaoke variety. As always we are accepting members who are drunk and crazy enough to accept the LoBos brand. Harvey and Holt are still holding me back from my music career. What a brother does for his boys.Shots for shots boys! --Shaun Zedkiller 22:21, 26 June 2013 (UTC)

August 6 10-- Karaoke Road trip 2010. The ancient and honourable art of karaoke is once again being practiced by our memebers wherever we can be heard. Gun in one hand and mic in the other, we fight the good fight, belting out an inspiring tune to raise moral while trying to remain upright with a skinful of Jackhammer.--Cherub Ael 16:30, 10 August 2010 (BST)

May 3 10-- Still fighting like hell to secure the mall and keep Pursey up and running. This has been the longest zed attack in any of our memories. We are enjoying it and drinking hard!--Shaun Zedkiller 15:09, 3 May 2010 (BST)

March 8 10-- Been busy trying to fight back the undead and keep the suburb up and running. The boys are holding strong. --Shaun Zedkiller 02:17, 8 March 2010 (UTC)

December 14 09--Some of the boys have found an old bus and decided to take a road trip. Destination unknown but HQ is expecting Karaoke to hit the airwaves anyday now. Some of the senior members have stayed behind to man the club and keep killing EVIL when it arises.......but we're really bored of them.--Shaun Zedkiller 11:58, 14 December 2009 (UTC)

October 13 09--A group of PKers known as EVIL have come to town. The Lobos have already begun to take them down.----Shaun Zedkiller

Sep5th 09--After a brief knees up with the Undeadites, Lockettside is safe again with nothing but overcading and Pkers to worry about. God its boring. Bored, bored, bored, bored, bored. Mall Tour anyone or how's about picking a red suburb and retaking it? What was that Shaun. I can barely hear you over Harveys terrible singing... Newspaper Tag. Didn't we do that before.. Oh yeah only 3 played. Eh what? You've got 5 signed up, well then count me in. Forget killing, cading and healing it's time to slap, slap and slap some more. NEWSPAPER TAG IS ON!

Jun4th 09--Hebditch NT proved to be a washout with the 48 occupying Z's intent on... well occupying it really. Bored with the inability to play even a single tune the LoBo's Karaoke tour has returned to Lockettside as it appears Josaphat Hospital is under attack and we actually need to some homeland defending. Does this mean we have to change the suburbs danger level? Can we make it puce, I like puce.--Fausta Gummings 18:56, 4 June 2009 (BST)

May14th 09--Well the local Z's finally objected to our having a powered club on the fringes of Barrville, either that or they wanted a beer and a boogie to our rocking tunes. The Tour has moved on, mostly coz we need a new radio and genny, so is currently in Ackland Mall making friends and getting drunk. Next location? Hebditch NT has been suggested as the next happening place to head but so far the jury is out (mostly of their skulls on jackhammer) due to the fact that current occupiers are dead set against survivors using Hebditch (get it, dead set, when its occupied by Z's, that was a joke that or a clever play on words). Oh a serious note, has anyone seen Harvey? We can't seem to find his body.(cue spooky music)--Fausta Gummings 12:57, 14 May 2009 (BST)

May 8th 09-- After faffing around Lorenzo Hospital and wasting all our ammo the lobo's road trip moved on to Hildebrand Mall to restock and waste even more time helping out round there. So much so that when we finally made a move on Nichols it had already been single handedly cleared by Harvey (or so he claims, how many Jackhammers did you have that day Harvey?).After sticking around a grand totall of 2 days in the Mall the Lobo's decided it was time to move the Tour onto the Zoo. The zombie attack and ransacking of Nichols that resulted in the temporary incapacitation of two members had absolutely nothing to do with this, honest. Anyway, we had new kilts by this point. So... onwards to the zoo where the locals told us off for barricading the zombies out. Seems they like to watch them fight in the enclosures as bear baiting is off, go figure. Which brings us finally to Club Lazenby where the karaoke party has started properly! Shaun, Jonny, Cherub and Harvey have kicked off the singing in style, broadcasting to all back at Club Frankland and anyone else listening on 26.11--Fausta Gummings 16:56, 8 May 2009 (BST)

April 19th 09-- With Spring here and no zombies to speak of in Lockettside several members have taken it upon themselves to help restore Nichols Mall to survivor hands. Actually we just needed new kilts as we can't get the bloodstains out of the ones we picked up on the last karaoke tour. Harvey, Shaun, Faust and Cherub call on all members new or old to help rid Nichols of the foul Zed's who would prevent the kilt store from reopening. --Fausta Gummings 11:55, 19 April 2009 (BST)

No real news. Just wanted to say that since I am back I shall continue the maintenance of the LoBo page as I did before. - Joe Riggs 20:35, 17 April 2009 (BST)

February 22 09 -- The LoBo's have been busy at Marven mall and other areas in the suburb beating zombie ass and reciting poetry. So if you feel like kicking ass in a classy refined kind of fashion head on over to Club Frankland and say hi.--Harvey Goolap 20:45, 22 February 2009 (CST)

October 12 08 -- Although no longer concentrating on stadiums the LoBo's Karaoke tour has been resurrected (rather like some of its members at times) and is now kicking off a new leg starting at Buttery Row School in Ridleybank. All are welcome no matter your singing ability. We just ask that you bring your own beer as we definately don't have enough for all of Malton.--Fausta Gummings 01:18, 12 October 2008 (BST)

September 22 08 --The LoBos newspaper tag event has been and continues to be a huge success! Although there are only three participants and it makes getting "un it" a little challenging, (you can't tag back the person that tagged you) the zest and gusto demonstrated by everyone is truly moving. Later updates on the medal ceremony when we figure out how this ends..--Harvey Goolap 10:45, 22 September 2008 (CST)

June 26 08 --The LoBo's Malton Stadium Karaoke tour was postponed mid tour because of Barrville being totally screwed up. As the local Zed population seemed unhappy with our song choices, we will continue when we are able to keep Floyde Stadium powered for more than 12 seconds.--Harvey Goolap 13:11, 26 June 2008 (CST)

May 07 08 --The LoBo's are looking to begin constructing Zombie proof armor made from recycled crap found around Malton. The initial planning meeting will take place in Club Frankland this weekend and will include copious amounts of questionable substances and alcohol. It also looks like the get to know you/icebreaker part of the meeting will involve an air guitar contest, hope to see you there.--Harvey Goolap 16:15, 7 May 2008 (CST)

April 08 08 --The Lockettside Boys are just as active as ever and are looking for new recruits. Due to the recent zombie activity our weekly salsa and samba based combat lessons have been postponed until more interest is shown. However, we are still practicing karaoke and drunken target practice every Thursday at Club Frankland.--Harvey Goolap 15:08, 8 April 2008 (CST)
