Lumber Mall Survivors

The Lumber Mall Survivors are completly dedicated to defending the only 2 block mall in Malton. Since Survivor concentration is naturally higher, and zombie concentration is similar to other seiges, there is simply not an excuse for it to fall into zombie hands.

Policies

The Lumber Mall Survivors are against zerging, PKing, and GKing. Multi-character abuse is against the point of the game. The goal is to keep ourselves alive. Generators are our greatest ally in living through a seige.

We are fully willing to defend another mall, should the need arise. Survivors only need to send a message to us, either in game or by e-mail. However, should the need for support at our mall arise, we would expect those we help to return the favor. If you're interested in forming an alliance with our group, or joining this group, e-mail your_mom1337@hotmail.com with your request. (That's actually my e-mail, no joke)

Strategies

All members should follow a battle plan for consistency. Obviously, the nearby Necrotech facilities are key to the plan. Zombie hordes will obviously assault these, but the fact that there are three of them nearby means that they must split up their forces, or focus on one - leaving the other two intact. Obviously, they'll leave a few members behind to gaurd the building and move on, but a well timed strike will leave is back in our hands.

Revive Points

Choosing the right revive point is key. Pike Plaza is too far away, and so is the carpark and churchous Ave. This leaves the Browton building and War Crescent. Brain Rotters will likely stay at War Crescent between strikes in order to clog the revives. The Browton building would force zombies to waste 10 AP per day to clog it up. Lower levels would take up 20 AP. While revivors would waste a couple of AP bypassing the rotters, they'd waste more, giving us an advantage.

Entry Points

The Junkyard next to the mall doesn't hold any strategic value, so it doesn't even need to be kept at VS+2. Anywhere else could pose a threat to us.

Fuel

Fuel cans are an important resource, so obviously zombies will attack the nearby Auto repair shops. Instead of taking them back and wasting many player's AP, we'll send one or two people out every couple of days to neighboring suburbs to find feul. As long as they return once every 5 days, we don't need to waste any AP retaking the Auto shops. Of course, the hordes will catch onto this, and ignore the buildings. We'll take them back once there's only one or two zombies in there, then laugh as they waste AP trying to take it back, knowing that we'll save valuable AP by using it instead of scouting far away. When this happens, we'll just resort to scouting again. In the end, we'll save AP and frustrate the zombies.

Necrotech

The three nearby Necrotech buildings are key to survival. As discussed earlier, we won't waste AP fighting for a single building unless all three are taken down, by which time the horde will probably be out of AP. Of course, we'll maintain barricades and a small population to protect it. Of the three buildings, two are easily accessable with free running, the third is out of the way and shouldn't be relied on. The Rothwell building is closest, so try and use it for finding syringes.

General strategies

Please read the guides written for defending a mall for the basic tips. However, be sure to never fall under 15 AP unless it's absolutely neccessary. Keeping a reserve of AP is key to survival, and make sure to log in every hour or two to make sure that the barricades are up.

Following these strategies will make us nearly unstoppable, and with enough support, Lumber Mall will never fall again. If you think that posting out strategies on the wiki page is a bad idea, just realize that a zombie spy could get them anyway. Having knowledge of this is something they'd get eventually. The things that matter, such as coordinated attacks, will never be posted, as that information is key to our survival.
