Suggestion talk:20070607 Anti-Zerg Syringes

People seem to be having issue with the way you've phrased the 25% * 5AP = 100% * 20AP. You say It will basically take 4 tries to complete the manufacture, meaning it will still waste 20 AP. This is not completely accurate - ON AVERAGE it will mean 20APs will be used to manufacture a syringe. But that average is across players, and across the city.

I think my suggestion of making Anti-Zerg Syringes work in the same way ans Anti-Zerg FAKs is the simplest way to counter zerg-revives.

There's a way to remove a suggestion so you can amend it (if you wish), but I can't find where it say son the wiki. armareum 15:43, 8 June 2007 (BST) Sorry, I keep forgetting to sign my comments!

^That was by Armareum I think. The problems the way I see it are Manufacturing being % based makes it a waste of a skill and of AP instead of just a waste of AP(search rates are tweaked and at times Manufacture can be better/worse than search) This would make it so Manufacture was basically always worse than search. Of course my problem is that it may make it so that over 20 AP you get four syringes and since it having less rolls than normal searching would be a benefit to zergs not a downside, although I agree with my first statement too. --karek 15:36, 8 June 2007 (BST)

As an anti zerg measure making manufacture a % thing would do a lot to help it could also make the game a little more fun (i don't like the numbers suggested but thats not the point) However they do have a point that manufacture is already fairly poor and making it potentially cost more makes it even worse! The only real way round this is to improve manufacture, my prefered way would be to make manufactured syringes automaticaly cure infection too, a small boost but worthwhile!--Honestmistake 12:15, 9 June 2007 (BST)

The only way I see a syringe killing infection not getting killed/spammed is if you remove faks curing infecion, cause otherwise it's just a massive nerf to a major zombie skill. --karek 05:44, 10 June 2007 (BST)
