The Story

Yes, the legends are true. There is a tank, small child. And this is its tale.

In August, 2007, the MPD Vigilantes were making a raid on a small band of thieves and murderers in Promel Towers. However, due to some confusing maps and a moment of adrenaline-fueled running, a few vigilates got lost. However, this wasn't all bad, as you will soon find out. The lost veterans (including myself, Johnny Crow, and Big Daddy) came upon a collapsed building in the then-ruined Fort Creedy. Deciding for no real reason other than a gut instinct, I suggested a search of the building. What we found was... Astounding, to say the least. It was an M1 Abrams Battle Tank, dented and scarred, with an Army Control Corps symbol painted on the sides. We searched a nearby factory and found a barrel of fuel.

We radioed the other group (the ones that weren't lost) and told their de facto leader, the Generic Minion, to hold back and wait to assault. When he asked us why, he got the answer of "It'll be cool".

With the tank being driven by Johnny Crow, and the battle cannon manned by none other than me, the Vigilantes proceeded to demolish the band of thugs in what can only be described as a severe bout of asswhuppinitis. Say it slow. Now, repainted, repaired, and renamed the Malton Police Department Vigilantes Patrol Tank, it serves as not only a beacon of hope for overrun safehouses, but as protector of all Malton.
