What is the USA about?
Layer 1: FUN
srsly. What are we doing playing this game if we aren't having fun?
We need to let go of our rigidity and do whatever we will have fun doing as a group. It's fun to play alone, but it's funner to play together. As this alliance is to span the entire Survivor Security Zone, which is likely to expand now that forts are defensible, this will be the biggest party in all of Malton.
But, in order to keep this all going, we need communication:
Layer 2: Communication
Because 1000 brains are better than 1.
Survivors do a lot of tripping over each other. They rely on each other for survival, yet they waste AP fighting over transmitter frequencies, random PKs, and which strategy they want to use to combat the zombies.
Layer 3: Strategy
Let's think about the bottom line-- are we trying to win this game, or are we going to have fun running circles around the zeds?
Simple. You can't win this game. All we can do is keep our people alive a little bit longer. In order to do this, we must work together. When we don't have the manpower to control the entire Zone, we will concentrate in one area.
Current Activities
The alliance is not started yet.
Future ideas may include and certainly aren't limited to:
- Role playing
- Mass invasions of zombie-infested buildings
- Brilliant fireworks shows in Ridleybank (can you imagine their reaction when they wake up to a spam of flare shots?)
- Revive tours around Malton
- Mass trenchcoating for our newer players
- A real-time radio show, running one day only... everyone tunes to 28.01 and contributes their AP, if you know what I mean.
Joining the Alliance
The following types of groups are allowed:
- Survivors
- ZKers (provided they don't attack friendlies)
- PKers (provided they don't attack friendlies)
- Groups that allow zombie skills
- Groups that don't allow zombie skills (we don't have to be alike to make an effective team)
Alliance Rules
Fun
It's a game. Anyone not having fun will be tickled into the ground.
Zerging
I don't have to tell you what Kevan said himself-- zerging is cheating. We grief cheaters.
Gray Tactics
If the information is public, read it. If it's private, don't. Be honest. We grief dishonest players.
PKing
Sometimes the only way to get through to someone in this game is to kill them. Anyone stepping on our rules recieves one warning, followed by as many deaths as it takes to change their ways or leave our area of operation.
Spam
It doesn't hurt us.
Cooperation
All members of the alliance are expected to cooperate with one another. This means:
- Have fun (I said it before, and I'll say it again)
- Communicate with each other
- Seek to understand each other
- Seek to resolve disagreements
Hostle Activity
Any of the following actions are considered hostle and will be handled appropriately:
- Attacking a member of the alliance (more than one hit and no apology)
- Destroying radios without replacing them
- Destroying generators without replacing and refuelling them
- Demolition of barricades in buildings contrary to barricade plans
- Construction of barricades in buildings contrary to barricade plans
- Killing a member of the alliance without permission (Human or zombie, it makes no difference. Don't waste our AP.)
- Infecting a member of the alliance without permission
- Reducing the fun level of the game
